Welcome to Lobsterfest 2016!
Greetings!
We are looking forward to you joining us for Lobsterfest 2016 this Saturday, September 10 and wanted to share some details with you in advance.
We will be using an electronic check-in and bidding system again this year. With this system you and your guests may pre-register by clicking on the “Pre-Registration for Attendees” link on the right. Pre-registering will help streamline both your check-in and auction check-out process, as those who pre-register their credit card information will not have to check-out at the end of the evening! Also, guests will bid for silent auction items through their smart phones or with the help of staff on-site. Please be sure to bring your smartphone to the event with you.
Other event details:
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the Great Meadow. When you arrive, guest check-in will be in front of the Admissions building, where you will receive your nametag and program with bidding number.
During the reception, you may sample the Museum’s 1803 Fat Ox Ale and Intrepid Ale, see our potter at work, tour the John L. Wehle Gallery, or visit our oxen Buck and Dan. We will also have premium wines and raffle tickets for the Grand Canadian Rockies trip available.
Our silent auction will run from 5:30 until 7 p.m. and the live auction will follow dinner in the main tent – the complete list of auction items can be accessed via the "Silent Auction" link to the right.
Dress is ‘Business Casual’— we recommend dressing in layers and wearing comfortable shoes as the event is outdoors.
Should you have any questions or have a dietary restriction that you have not previously shared with us, please call us at 585-294-8241.
Your participation will benefit the Museum's educational objectives and support the Museum's mission "to inspire excitement and curiosity about the past and an appreciation for its relevance today."
